D&D'08 Pageant Titles

2 Titles will be given out during this year's D&D. Which will it be? I have included a poll(on the right hand side of the blog) for you guys to choose from. Of course,you are not limited to these 'titles'. If you have any suggestions, feel free to leave a comment. Your votes and contributions would be much appreciated. ;)

I was just thinking of changing the blog layout since I've redesigned the DnD ticket thats gonna be approved by Office of Finance. The picture above is roughly similar to what its gonna look like.

Jeremy here. This is about a job i mentioned previously. I have already emailed the person and
she wants to know how many is interested, so i have to get the numbers. Those that are interested could u please leave a comment so that i can have the numbers. Thanks.

OK. Anw basically, the job is...

There is a health centre in geylang, open by the MOH (ministry of health) so shldnt be so shady. =P They are looking for people to help them walk the streets of Geylang and give out flyers, free condoms, give out leaflets promoting the centre's free HIV check up to the girls.

The timings are flexible, i can work it out with the person. I just need to know if u are interested and which days are best for u. Currently they do their rounds every SAT from 7 to 10 pm. The pay i feel is not bad. $10 an hour. I can check if we can do longer hours or more days so we can bring in more cash. =P

Its open to all. guys/girls.. who ever ehh dares.. =P anw.. i think it should be quite safe.. they let u work in pairs.. so lets say can put a guy with a girl or sth.. so if the guy gets tempted (Sam/hoeyee) den at least got someone to stop him. =)

Survey (again..)

Hey guys, term break is here. We have to do this survey to get more canvassing funds in. Its short, much easier than the last one.

Here are the details.

Its on asian countries n issues. 25 questions only.

Target : --> Final year students from Arts(humanities,social sciences,fine arts)
and Sciences(natural sciences,engineering,medicine)

--> 3 girls from sciences
--> 3 girls from arts
--> 3 guys from arts

So thats a total of only 9 surveys to be done. I expect this to be done by tuesday night as wednesday is the deadline. I know its quite rush but its not that hard to accomplish.

If you have friends who fit the above criteria, contact the Business Managers (Jeremy,Junqi,Athene,Kailing) or Weiming for a survey form.

New Year

Happy New Year everyone!

This year, we look forward to all the preparations for DnD'08.

All individual portfolios will be updated and reminded about their assignments and expectations during the next meeting.

As for our canvassing, it has been a rather uneventful december(consider yourselves lucky), so we have to step up our efforts in bringing in the funds.

Please think about the themes before we finally decide during our next meeting(which will probably be held during the first week of school). Some of the themes we discussed during the last meetings include, "Black & White" and "Uniform" for those of you who didn't turn up.

I urge everyone to play their part and go the extra mile for this committee. It's gonna be a happening and memorable DnD this year and you guys are the reason for it!
